I coach and develop high school and middle school water polo players that are already skilled in the game. They want to take their skills to a much higher level so they can become stars on their team, play at an elite college and even play on a National team.

I do this by coaching in small group sessions of four to six players. This allows me the unique ability to observe, give feedback, correct and grow elite level players. Most teams don’t do this and they don’t know how to do it. Using my skills and experience, I provide instruction that is not available anywhere else. Players that have worked with me go on to star in Division I teams such as Brown, Harvard, Princeton and Stanford. Seven of my athletes have gone on to play for our National team. This is unprecedented in water polo.

My experiences as an Olympic and professional water polo player give me insights into the skills that are needed to be the best. My twenty years of coaching youth water polo has shown me the mistakes that most athletes make, how to correct them and what to do to improve.

To be the best is not a secret. It takes strong fundamentals, hard work and a love of the sport. This is what I teach all of my clients. The way I teach and the skills we develop is unique in the water polo world. Most American coaches don’t know what it takes and are too busy juggling large groups of kids of various abilities and desires. I only work with families that are willing to do the work to do the best.
